So we’ve got a 10x20ft run for the girls complete with dust bath and some stumps for perching but I felt like it needed something more for enrichment so I’ve been scouring the neighborhood for fallen branches. A few blocks away someone cut down a whole tree and they were more than happy to get rid of the excess. So I carried this thing home and the girls are finally not ignoring it!! I think they enjoy it.

I bet they would also love a chicken swing
Yeah I need to figure out how to make one! I wanted to plant a large bush in there to give them some cover (half the roof is covered so they have shade but the chickens I’ve free roamed spent a lot of time under bushes) but I have to find a full grown bush to plant. I think they’d destroy a baby bush lol!

You could make a swing with a branch and rope.
I have an already established burning bush in my chicken run. The bottom half has no leaves now. And they are jumping higher to get at the other leaves. I keep telling thme if they destroy it, they won't have any shade. ;)
