Has anyone noted a decrease in their coturnix roo's sex drive/ behavior after the first breeding season?

I ask because I have a roo that I had to separate from the five hens he was with because he was always chasing and mounting them, pulling feathers, and causing injuries. I want to know if he may be able to go back in now that his initial ardor has passed.

Sometimes the males get over agressive even if they have a generous amount of females. I would see how he acts and if he's still mean I'd seperate for alittle longer until he calms down. He will hurt them or if your girls are like mine they will gang up and beat him up or atleast that's what happened to my roo when he was being a meanie his girls tore him up and went on strike .
