Deep litter method with raised coop? Help designing the coop and run from here!

My simple test for this is to get inside the coop on a warm, sunny day. If it's hotter in than out then I need more ventilation.

Or, at least, shade.
That's a really good idea actually, and it makes total sense, luckily were covered by trees mostly where the coop is tucked in, there's sun in the run area though. Do you think a mini fan could help circulation of air?

Some people use fans. If you do, you should be sure to get one that's rated for barn use an thus sealed against the dust that can, at best, choke up the works and cause it to fail, or, at worst, start a fire.

IMO, natural air circulation is best if it can be provided. :)
