What causes misformations in eggs? I went into my coop this afternoon and found an olive egg that has two "deformed" spots on it. I want to say too much calcium but I really don't have a clue.

They are all eating layer feed, have the option to free range (but choose not too) so layer feed and nightly treats is the majority of their diet.

All of the other eggs I have gotten before this one have all be perfect!

That is a funny looking egg.

Sometimes there is just a glitch in the egg making process. Some eggs have no shell, some have no yolk, some have two or even three yolks, some have thin shells, some have thick shells, and some have patches that are thinner or thicker.
I wouldn't worry about it if it isn't a regular occurrence.

Best of luck!
