Deformity/injury?

Still trying to decide whether or not to cull this chick. I am not sure if this is a deformity or an injury. It looked like this when I first saw it when it was about 24 hours old.

Can you describe more in detail what the problem is? Is it the foot we're looking at?

the foot, shank and "knee," are slightly swollen and red and the "knee" itself has a knot and doesn't bend.
