Delaware and Columbian Rock varieties

Hi
Does anyone know if the Delaware and Columbian Rock are the same variety of chicken? I have purchased Columbian Rocks from Rochester Hatchery in Alberta and they look very similar with similar traits to the Delaware I see at US hatcheries.

No, they are 2 seperate breeds. Their appearance should be significantly different.

Look up light sussex while you're at it.

Rocks will have yellow legs and black tail.Delawere yellow legs and black barred tail,Sussex will have white-pink legs and black tail.Check Feather site.com for pictures of all breeds
