Delaware Flock @ 18 Weeks Old

Isaac and four of his five ladies are turning 18 weeks on Friday. Thought I'd update with a few pictures. I'm hearing that hormonal sound alot that the girls make when they're about to lay, a couple are squatting and their faces are becoming very red. Kira, his 5th girl, will turn a year old next month.

Very pretty! I have two that are 12 weeks old now. They're such a lovely breed.

They are beauties; that roo is just gorgeous.

He's a sweetie, too. He will follow me all over the place right at my heels. And he can crow with the best of them! He's filling out and his markings are getting clearer as he loses his juvie plumage. I'm very pleased with Isaac.

Cyn they are just STUNNING! They just get better looking with age. You are going to have so much fun working with them. Oh I love your new Avatar!

Thank you, Adam! Good to see you here-I know how busy you are these days. These are turning out very well. With seriousbill's help, I slowly culled the roosters down to this awesome guy. I did keep all except one of the pullets and Yard Full 'o Rocks has the other one. I'm excited to see these begin laying in the next couple of weeks.
