Just for informational purposes, thought I'd post pictures of Isaac as a much younger fellow and now, just to show folks how markings evolve on this breed as they mature. Even now, at 19 weeks, he's not "finished" yet. (sorry for the grainy first pic) Birds with lots of "smut" as chicks will most likely be your better marked birds as adults. The ones with few markings probably wont get better, but will be poorly marked later.

Good pics Cyn, it's also a good example of shape, he was never a narrow shouldered or narrow breasted chick. Proper shape showing fairly early.

Tho he isn't quite sure when to crow. . . . he finally did start crowing before 3 pm tho hahaha

btw . . . . Dr. Maria needed more chickens and I told her she could have some of mine so she took my 3 del hens and one silkie LOL She really likes them. The roo doesn't seem to mind tho since he still has quite a harem, a scaredy cat RIR roo, and a big britches Sebright roo to deal with ROFL
