Do you mean the offspring of a Delaware/Polish roo and a Delaware/Polish hen? If so, I can explain that:

When you breed 2 different breeds, (Delaware x Black Crested Polish) You will always get a certain type of chicken from those two bred together.

But, if you CROSS the chickens you have already CROSSED, there is a very wide range what they could look like.

I bred an Easter Egger x Buff Brahma with an Easter Egger x Buff Brahma. I got one white chick, one brown, one white and black with a black beak, and one black laced. 2 had feathered legs and 2 didn't,
