(maybe this Mascot MIA list will prompt them to return them..PLEASE!!! ...most of these people are active on the forum all the time and that just AMAZES me............)

Can you please explain this to me? What is a BYC Mascot?

WOW!! Gives me new inspiration to have other people interested in the effort!!! YAY!!! Yes I would love to send one to England to Yappy Fingers house..only problem is...the people that they were last sent to..on the list above...will not send them forward.

The premise was that these stuffed chickens and ducks with their little box of belongings and journal would travel from one BYC members house to another..along the way they would get photos made with the people they visited and those would be posted on the thread to let folks know how much fun they had and to get to know other members and laugh and have fun with the adventures the Mascots had..these "hosts" also wrote entries in the journals that are with the Mascots, so that way at some point, we could retire a Mascot with its' belongings and journal and let it be a prize in a big BYC contest..well I've never been able to get to that pint becasue travel came to a stand still with all the mascots at about the same time..the thread is a testiment to the effort being great fun for the BYC community back in the days when the Mascots moved along at a fair pace...now, it's only frustrating. I am going to give it another shot this weekend and send some more around and hopefully motivate the ones on the list to go ahead and either send their mascots back to me or to the next person on the list. They can pm me for addresses...no I won't yell and fuss at them..I just want the mascots to move along. Anyway, that's the deal and it began quite awhile ago, so it is now really a historical part of this forum that I would like to continue..thank ya'll for the nice comments too btw......English, if you and Yappy will pm me your addresses, I will happily add you to the list, thanks!!
