I got Della in the early spring of 2021. She is a California Gray, a great escape artist. At first, she would go to our neighbors behind us. I found her secret passage and blocked it off. A week later I went out to the pen and she was missing. I went over to the neighbors and no Della. We searched all over the yard and no Della. As I was looking in our garage I heard a lot of laughing from the bar next door to us and someone said "is that a chicken?" I walked over to the bar and sure enough, she was on the patio sitting at a table being fed pieces of hamburger buns. I introduced Della to the 4 or 5 people at the table and took her home. About a week later someone knocked on my door and told me she was down at the bar again. This happened about four times before we checked her in The Betty Ford Clinic. She is doing really well now and hasn't relapsed
