PLEASE help! I need a breeder so I can find a female muscovy before I cull the drake who has taken to attacking me from behind and challenging my every move, no matter how slow and in tune with their needs. I Just don't want to continue with this drake (I've been trying for some time and am ready to give up!) but I also don't want to leave the other sweet drake without a duck companion. Does anyone know a breeder of muscovy on the east coast who might have an adolescent hen?
Thanks so much!

@Miss Lydia
Miss Lydia,
What are you suggesting? Are you aware of a breeder? I checked with the rescue people and no one (of them) even wants muscovy anymore (male or female) so they don't take them.

Are you asking me or is this a post for Miss Lydia?

Sorry, I'm confused. What does @Miss Lydia mean?
It’s ok! I’m tagging her so she sees this thread. It sends the person a notification, and she has Muscovy ducks so she might be able to help. I’ll look for other people with Muscovy ducks too

Where are you on the East coast? I have rescued drakes including a very disturbed muscovy like yours. I don't really want a second paychotic duck but I will take yours if you are close enough to me in NE Florida. I can probably get you a rescued female from my friend

We are not allowed legally to release muscovy to the wild and so are always looking to rehome. I do think you should get two more females so you are not left with a single lonesome female in the future.
