Denver Permitting Questions

Hoping to hear from other Denver-based BYC owners. I'm about to start the process of getting the right permits.

Here are my questions:
- Did you have to do both the FOOD PRODUCING ANIMAL PERMIT and Livestock or Fowl Permit? Or just one? I understand I have to speak to zoning after having the permission from the Director of DAP.
- Did you hear anything specific from zoning that I should keep in mind before sending them my plans?
- How long did it take to get final approval? I'm hoping to start my chicks indoors soon/build my coop, but I don't want to do that without hearing back first.
