For some time now, I've noticed that something is wrong with my silkies. They hadn't laid in a while and thought that they might be egg bound. So, I bathe them in Epson salt (twice) and gave them extra calcium. One of them perked up, but didn't lay. The other has continued to get worse. She doesn't move very much and her head droops when I pick her up. There are no visible sores, leakage of any kind or breathing problems. I've been keeping a close eye on all of the girls and luckily no one had shown any of those symptoms. The longer the story gets, the more complicated it becomes. Essentially, my biggest concern is whether I should put her down.

What do you feed them?
What does their pen and coop look like?
Do you have any other birds?
Where are you in the world? Could the season be affecting them?
How long is "some time"? Weeks? Months?

Feed: Scratch and Peck Feeds
Pen/Coop: 4'X4' coop specifically for the silkies, run 15'x10'. The RIR are kept in their own, much bigger space.
Birds: 4 (3 RIR and 1 other silkie)
Location: California. It's been "cold". (40s at night, highs in the 60s)
Time: 2 weeks,
