Design for a nice sized quail coop.

My budget is about 65$ I want to make a nice sized coop for my coturnix quail I have 12 and I can get more if they can get a new coop.

Have you considered a big wire cage? You could get a 3X4 wire cage for about what your budget allows.

I agree, Quail don't necessarily need a coop. You can just buy the cage and get a small tarp, with money to spare. Oh and before you go to a pet store or where ever to get the cage always check craigslist. You can generally get a cage way cheaper there.

has a cheap option that we built here in Sydney. Movable too and allows some "free grazing"

Latest addition since that post is a sand pit. We dug a hold, put in an old laundry plastic tub and filled with sand.. They all take turns!
