DESPERATELY looking for gold laced polish

My son starts 4-H this year (in the shadow of his sister who is a rabbit queen). My son is allergic to rabbits and is very excited to start his own collection of poultry. We already have some bantams and 51 sexlinked, and we just put 20 cornish rocks in the freezer (thus the extra coop). He has researched his decision and is very specific in the fact that he wants gold laced polish. This is our first endevour with show birds because our bantams are pets and don't count.

All of that just to ask if anyone know where I could find a breeder of gold laced polish (bantams would be nice). I really need help because I've been looking for a couple of weeks now with no success.

Try checking out the Polish Breeders' Club. They have a website and several members have and sell Golden Laced Polish bantams. Dave Schwartz in Owosso MI has them. Jim Parker, their secretary, is in Lima OH (Cridersville). He should be able to help you find a breeder.

To bad your so far, I have A black Roo, and a Buff Roo for Sale...plus they are not the color that you are looking for but it is a nice variety! Good Luck!

Thank you, and I tried e-mailing the people you mentioned from the polish club and haven't recieved an answer (maybe they don't check e-mails often). I think I sent the e-mail's Sunday. I have e-mailed many people with no luck so far, but I will try the one you said. We are excited to get some.

I have a breeding trio, two extra pullets, two young pairs and a few assorted chicks out of Jim Parker's bloodlines. They are all available and I have pics if you need them.
I am only 30 mins from Toledo.
