Here is Bumble Bee at 10 weeks. I have not heard any crowing or attempting to crow. No spurs, only bumps, I saw him jump on an older hen who then turned mid air to face him with her claws, He/she sticks closely to the other chicks he/she hatched with. All three of them are afraid and steer clear of the older hens. He/she is bigger, fluffier, taller than the other chicks. I've read a lot of posts talking about hens who act like roosters, some actually grow spurs. etc. I'm waiting for the tail feathers to come in. They just started last week really. Would love your input.
That's a boy for sure. It takes time for them to grow their spurs so you won't see any yet. Older roosters have long spurs, and older hens can have little spurs too. His rooster feathers will be clearly obvious soon, you may hear him start crowing soon as well.
