Dewormer for my 3 week old chick

Anyone have any suggestions. I currently have safeguard dewormer but I will be honest having 3 chicks I have no idea of the dosage. The bottle says .6 ml for 25 pounds. Please help or if you have any other dewormer suggestions it qould be great

Do you know they have worms? They seem young to be worming. Dosage of safeguard is 0.25 (1/4) ml per pound of weight once given orally and repeated in 10 for round worms.

In short no I dont. They are eating and drinking but have very runny diarrhea. With a reddish color to it.

That may be natural intestinal shed or coccidiosis, can you get a picture?

In that age chicks, I would be more concerned about possible coccidiosis. Symptoms include runny poops, sometimes with blood, lethargic, hunched or puffed up appearance, and not eating. Coccidiosis is treated with Corid, 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water for 5-7 days.

Welcome to BYC. I would treat them for coccidiosis with Corid.

Treatment	20% Powder	9.6% Liquid
For 3-5 days	1.5 teaspoons per gallon	2 teaspoons per gallon
then for 7-14 days	1/3 teaspoon per gallon	1/2 teaspoon per gallon

Those pics could be cecal poops mixed with regular ones. Do you see any blood?

Yes, that is the correct dose for 3 chicks.
Just for your info; your chicks are too young to have worms.
You're dealing with coccidiosis as mentioned by the others.
