Welcome To BYCHi!
Is this the correct dewormer? If so is it a pea size amount once and then 10 days later?
This is the safeguard paste equine 100mg/g
Thanks!
Do you use a syringe to get the correct amount out of tube and to put it in their beaks?Welcome To BYC
Safeguard is dosed by weight, not pea size.
For Chickens:
Safeguard (Fenbendazole) dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight give orally once, then repeated in ten days to treat Roundworms Only.
If you are treating other types of worms including Roundworms, but not Tapeworms, then give at a dose of 0.23ml per pound of weight orally once a day for 5 days in a row.
