Hello, I've posted some of these questions to various threads, but wanted to revisit to make sure I'm clear.
I don't think I did a thorough job in the spring and seeing worms occasionally so want to make sure to clean the slate before winter. FYI, my chickens have huge runs populated with trees, boulders and bushes, plus free range for a few hours a day, so contact with other birds, chipmunks, and mice, is part of life.

1. Can I do a round of Safeguard or Valbazen and then ALSO administer Praziquantel later to kill any possible Tapeworms (Yes, I know they are rare, but I saw them a lot last summer, not this summer, however they did show up in a recent fecal test).
2. How much time after the last dose of safeguard and/or valbazen should I wait until administering Praziquantel?
3. Is anyone aware of possible side effects/risks for administering any of these or administering back-to-back?
4. Is Valbazen still effective it it's been subjected to wide range of temperatures. It's been in the garage ALL summer. It did get pretty hot, but it was in a cabinet. Now it's getting into the low 40s. It was expensive and we haven't had a frost yet so hoping it may still be usable (I should have kept it in the house, but there have been so many chicken products to keep track of).
5. Can you add Valbazen to drinking water or does it HAVE to be administered individually? I have 34 chickens and 1 turkey, so it's a lot of work and it will be just one person.

Thank you so much for any specific expertise around these questions. Pics for attention.

I'm tagging @dawg53 - hopeful that they may have some answers.

👆 This is a "no". Both Valbazen and SafeGuard will settle out in water and dosing will not be accurate (or effective). There is a product called SafeGuard Aquasol that can be added to water, but it only treats roundworms and cecal worms.

The best advice I can give is that you dont have to do all the birds in one day...if you have a way to mark the ones that got treated on which day...
