Welcome!

Worming is a can of worms

Some do not worm at all, some use natural wormers and some use chemical wormers. Whether to worm or not and what to use is definitely a personal choice and you will see many threads on just that subject.

Me, personally, I have my gals on a 6 month chemical worming schedule that I started when they were 6 months old.

Deworming chickens was a Topic of the Week and this is a good thread if you want to check out multiple members thoughts on the subject all in one place: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1136000/topic-of-the-week-deworming-chickens

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends

Hi and welcome to BYC. Chicks at such a young age most certainly do not require de-worming. The link given by Teila should give you more info on subject.

Best wishes
