Deworming my flock...

Hi!

I have heard people talking about what and what not to use for deworming... Fenbendazole, etc...

However, I am not looking to get a prescription, as I dont have a avian vet near by, I also dont want them diagnosing my flock with something they dont have... As I heard in some cases...

So here is the big question... Does anyone know where to get it without prescription? Or any other dewormers that dont need one?

Apricate it! Thanks!

You can get both SafeGuard (fenbendazole) and Valbazen (albendazole) at Tractor Supply. The dosage and duration is different for both and they are labled for use in goats, so you will need to make sure you are using the correct dosage for a chicken.

You can find dosing information by searching the threads. There are MANY!
