DeWorming questions

What is a good dewormer for my chickens? Where do I get it and how is it administered? Is there a period after worming when eggs should not be eaten? Thanks.

I have never wormed my chickens but I have read on here that Valbazen given by mouth is suppose to be good. I am planning on getting some as soon as payday comes around. Jefferslivestock.com carries it. Or your local feed store should have it.

Valbazen dosage is orally; 1/2cc for standard size, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Redose again 10 days later. Withdrawal is 14 days after the 2nd dosing.
