Deworming tonight

Well, it is time. I got my Valbazen and a stash of dosing syringes. I will be attempting to deworm 40 chickens tonight. Not sure how it will go. My guys all free range and only about 26 roost in the coop. This could be interesting. Wish me luck!

Okay, did you get the syringe with the needle? I cut bread into squares and inject the square. Most gobble it up. If one is too spaced out to eat it, then she gets the squirt in the mouth.

We just caught them and squirted it in the mouth. My daughter painted a spot on the leg so we'd know who was done and who wasn't. Get to do it again in 10 days. yay!
