Hi, at what stage should I deworm my chicks and what should I consider before doing so?

Yes, get a fecal float done before treating.

You may not need to. It depends. If you get a fecal text that will tell you. You can bring some feces from your flock to your vet who will send it out to be tested - http://www.poultrydvm.com/poultry-vets.php

No worms seen on my end. Though my neighbour got her's dewormed after seeing several worms in their excrement. Her's are 9months old while mine are 3months old.

As I’ve been out of the chicken-keeping game for a while I can’t recall specific products though all Agro-vets stock de-worming products.

I used to de-worm every 6 months.
