Deworming

Does anyone use this? Does it work and is it necessary? I am new to chickens.

I have never used it because it won't work. Don't get suckered into these 'all natural' remedies that have zero scientific data to back up their claims.

You need to know what species of worm(s) you are dealing with to know what anthelmintic is best to use.

Won't do a single thing.
Any real natural wormers are poisons and it will take life threatening amounts to the bird before it touches a worm.
Chili does nothing to worms.
It depends on your area and how much free ranging they get to decide when is a good time.
