DH went for his post op. doctors apointment

He got a good check up. and will be able to go back to work on may 3 for very light duty. His work is going to let him answer phones and make copies and such. he can't wait to get back to work. he doesn't have to go back to see the surgeon unless something comes up. he will go see his cardiologist on april 21. fingers crossed all goes well then. He has already lost 16 lbs since the surgery. I have also lost weight . I am on the same diet as he is. according to the scales I have lost 9 lbs. I am so happy about that. we did cheat today. DH has wanted chinese food since he left the hospital so we went and got some today. and also DH has quit dipping skoal. he won't even go in the gas stations because he is afraid he will buy some. prayers that he doesn't give in. he hasn't had a dip since march 31. Thank you for all of your suport thru this. hugs

Good for your hubby for trying to quit chewing. My hubby has tried & tried and still goes back to sneaking it, lying about it and then getting REALLY mean when he's trying to quit. He has quit for a few months at a time only to get "stressed" and start chewing again. He's got a very addictive personality (alcohol and tobacco).
