Hi everyone...one of our girls had a couple of babies. We saw one in the morning and the a different one in the evening. When I went out in the evening I couldn't see the first one so I assumed it was under her staying warm. I closed up the coop so nothing could get in or out including our other chickens and rooster. We went back to the coop later that evening to move mom and her babies so they could have access to the water easier and her chicks were gone. We moved mom and no chicks and only half of a egg shell. Did she eat them? Also, she is still sitting in the laying box like there is something there but there is nothing, she won't go outside and free roam and she still pecks at us when we get close to her like there is something there but there isn't. Any ideas????
