Did I Get a Buncha Roos?!

I recently (10 weeks ago) bought 6 silver laced wyandotte chicks from TSC. They were labeled premium pullets, but we all know mistakes happen. IM really wondering if I have 4 Roos and only 2 pullets I'll post pictures. Please let me know what you think!

These are the only two I think are pullets.

We also bought SLWs from Tsc 10 weeks ago. This is what they look like. For the most part, mine don't have even close to the wattle and comb size as the pictures you posted. Looks like you might have a few roosters to me.

Wyandottes are known for being deceptive and pinking up early.

I don't see any of the male-specific white wing patches

yet, but it might be too early.

In another month the saddle feathers will tell the tail.

I'm sure my fear and suspicion has been answered... I'm still holding out until I hear a crow from each of them. Super bummed as I am in city limits and would adore having a rooster but am unable to. I have a few friends that I may be able to re-home to, regardless they'll find a place.

The ones you suspect are cockerels, are cockerels. In the pic of the two suspected pullets, the one on the left is a pullet. We will need to see the face of the other to confirm.

Oh I just looked closer at this pic. These two are your only pullets.

Hmm. I bought GLW from TSC labeled premium pullets. They are nearly 6 wks old. One has a nice red comb, early wattles. The other no comb but it is very aggressive (both, to the point where I separated them from other chicks) acting like a roo..the stance, chasing, fighting. They pull feathers and vent peck the littler chicks 5wks old. Honestly, I can’t wait to eat those SOBs. They have ruined me on the breed.
Seems like TSC and their suppliers are not too good at sexing chicks.

Vent sexing is never more than about 90% accurate and some breeds are more difficult than others. That's not any particular supplier's fault, it's the nature of the process.

I think a lot of these issues happen in the actual feed stores due to mixing chicks.
