I just bought 46 gray pearl guinea eggs for $5 off a local farmer. Good deal or steal?

I handed him a ten and he gave me back 5 one's.

He also said if it isn't enough or they don't hatch to come back and he will give me another basketfull.

Some people just don't understand the value of things! I sold 6, yes 6, of my guinea eggs on ebay for $15!!

I expected to pay at least $5 to $10 for a dozen which is all I wanted. I pulled up and he had 46 eggs sitting on the tailgate of his pickup. It didn't take long for me to go from "can't find guinea eggs" to got them running out my ears.

Seriously, I'm tired of waiting on my bator...I haven't been this impatient for my birthday since I was a kid!!!

I'd LOVE to get 46 guinea eggs! I think we have enough ticks on our 5 acres to feed a flock 4 times that size...
