My son has 4 4H 3 week old turkeys. We have never had turkeys. They are in a tote with 6 ducklings in my house. (Side note...ducks stink! Lol) We went away for the weekend (someone was coming to feed and water) and when we came back the ducks made a huge mess in the tote...HUGE!! The turkeys were a mess so I decided to give them a warm bath. I rinsed them off with cool water and immediately put them under a heat lamp. Now they are acting sick and walking around kind of drunk. They’re eyes are closed. Did I just kill them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to BYC! Sounds like they are might be too cold. Are they still wet?

I think I was too hasty on posting this thread. They are up and walking, eating and drinking. I put their heat lamp a little lower to warm them back up. Also, they are in their own brooder now. :) Thank you everyone!
