Did I kill Them? A day late for lockdown

I got my days wrong and I did not put my eggs in lockdown until today---1 day Late!

I am really hoping they will be okay. I tried to candle them but my light is not very strong.

i don't know about chickens and etc but i've done that with Quail and they hatched just fine. The purpose of lockdown is to get the humidity up higher and to stop turning the eggs so the chicks inside can figure out which end is up and be able to pip and zip....hope this helps

NO you didn't kill them.

I missed one this last hatch and found it last night. Hatch day was the 19th. It hatched this morning.

I'm going to the "will they hatch/" thread now to post about it.

Nah. You're fine. I've loved down a day late, and once remembered TWO days into it, and had pips as I quickly raised the humidity and unplugged the turner!
