Did I Salt Test Incorrectly??

I attempted a salt test yesterday, but it says the humidity is at 66%, meaning i’m a whole nine points off…

To me, that seems so far off I’m wondering if I tested incorrectly? I couldn’t find measurements for the test online so I just put enough water so the salt was saturated but there was no standing water.

Is it common for these cheap little things to be off by so much or is it more likely I tested incorrectly? Sorry if this is rushed and all over the place!

Yes it was zipped tight. I left it for eight hours and it was at 66 or so, then checked again after about 18 hours which was when the photo was taken and it was at the same number.

I'd say try it one more time with a little bit more water in your salt.
