Did I screw up somehow

I thought it would be smart to put blue food coloring in the water well of my bator so I could easily see the water levels - but my orpington hatched and I see what looks like blue food coloring on her shell. Did I screw up? Will it go away? UGH!

Hmmm. i dont know how that would happen unless the egg came in contact with the coloring. But, that's just me!!

This is the best I can do - it's dark and I can't get better lighting in there. I'm thinking it will go away like food coloring in hair washes away eventually. At least I hope so.
