...that chicks ride on their mother's back just like baby loons? I was cleaning up the coop yesterday, so I evicted the hens out into the run. That gave my broody the chance to stretch her legs and run around the coop with her babies. One hopped up and caught a ride "biddy-back" style while the others scooted around under foot. If I can snap a picture, I will post it.

Seriously, it was the cutest thing ever.

My baby goat does the same thing! She started out doing it with her mom, now (at about 7 wks old) she tries to hitch a ride on any of the goats that are standing still too long.
