Did you name your backyard farm or homestead? Why or why not? What name did you choose and why? And anything else you'd like to share (pictures, what animals you raise, if you grow anything... etc)

i named mine creature comforts because all our animals are so friendly to one another

example 1. i had a cat that had just had kittens that was killed by a car ( it was a stray in my barn) so i come home to find a dead mother cat but we cant find the babies well low and behold our black jersey giant hen was broody and was taking care of the kittens like baby chicks she ended up raising them and we soon found a home for all of them after they were grown that was quite a sight to see!!

example 2. i had a sebright hen that could never hatch babies for some reason they always died in the egg so even if she wasn't broody she would take in abandoned chicks without a thought. sadly she had taken in one baby but it fell in a water trough and drowned we took the baby and buried it but she went over to the spot and started trying to scratch him up and she was screaming at the top of her lungs. now tell me that animals don't have feelings but i think she did because the day after she became depressed and died a week later she was healthy as can be before that

Oh poor hen. This is why people become vegans. I couldn't but it does make me appreciate the weight of ethically sourced food.

Creature Comforts is a cute name.
