Hi everyone! I’m a new duck mom and am looking for helpful hints and tips on how to make sure my babies grow up big and strong. They’re 6 weeks right now almost 7. I have them on 20% protein chick food. I did some reading and found that I should get niacin for them, so will definitely be doing that for them quite soon, and info on what’s the best for them would be helpful. I also have electrolytes and probiotics in their water, and am unsure if and when I shouldn’t give that to them anymore. They are two pekin ducks named Sugar and Honey. Thanks everyone!

Welcome to BYC! actually, They look like White Layers to me, Pekins usually have orange bills.

Yes, You should include a niacin supplement into their diet especially since they are a heavyweight breed they grow faster than most breeds and put a lot of weight on those legs. I suggest you switch their feed to either an All Flock feed, Purina Rasier Feed or a feed formulated for ducks, In addition to this I would add a niacin supplement such as Brewers yeast, nutritional yeast, a Poultry Vitamin or B complex. They shouldn't need the electrolytes anymore.
