differemnt people food for ducks

Ducky does not seem to like the peas, corn, or scrambled egg. Takes a bite then shakes head and spits it all out? Why does it do this? Is it not use to the texture? It absolutely loves the oats though in its feed more than the feed I think. I will try some lettuce next of some kind.

try floating the peas (little, round things, not the whole pod) in water. also chop the lettuce up really small. like 1" squares. My mallard is much more discerning than my barnyard ducks, and hardly eats anything (other than duck feed) that I put out. good luck!

Some of the foods I give my ducks and ducklings : fruit such as mango, banana, apricot,watermellon, peaches - tomatoes, lettuce,cucumber, Beans, Peas. They also get a little bread with yogurt,sometimes some rice - oats or puffed wheat. They will eat just about anything I have ever given them - but I ensure that it is ok for them to eat it first. Often I will see the first duck spit something out- until another duck has snapped it up- and then they will all dive in.
