Difference between a small duck egg and a chicken egg?

I bought 5 “duck” eggs and one of them is about 50% smaller than the rest, and I was disappointed because I was told small eggs don’t usually hatch. A few people told me jokingly it looked like a chicken egg, but sure enough, day 4it had veins and none of the others did (they do now). Could it be a chicken? If so I’ll move it too a different incubator with the proper humidity. If you guys do in fact think it could be a chicken, the incubator I’m moveing it too has the egg sit upright and the chicken one it’s in now has it on its side, can and should I move it?

That sounds like a chicken egg to me.

Developing at chicken-rate instead of duck-rate sounds like the best indicator you will get, at least until the baby bird hatches out and you can see what it is.
