Difference between a white leghorn and a pearl white leghorn?

I am wondering if there is a difference between white leghorns and pearl white leghorns - or is it just a marketing ploy? What characteristics are different, specifically?

Pearl white makes'em sound pretty and exotic, other than the plain ole' white leghorn.

probably like the diff between matte white paint and glossy? They probably have a sheen to their feathers if they're pearl? I really don't know though, just guessing...
