I have a question, do you see any difference in the taste between scrambled eggs on the stove or in the microwave? In the morning when I feed my baby, alot of times I just scramble an egg in the microwave. It tastes the same to me, but my DH swears up and down he can taste the difference.

There is a major difference, but we eat them both ways. I will spray a mug with non stick and scramble a couple eggs in it, and then microwave them for 30 seconds or so and have been doing so for about 25 years now

A microwaved scrambled egg has a different texture, flavor and color.
The texture is more dense, the color lighter and the flavor is just different... more bland? Not sure it's difficult to say with the different texture.

Well.. they are fine, but definitely different.

Maybe you should make them side by side so you can see.

They cook a lot quicker in the microwave.

And if you like them creamy/lightly scrambled it's hard to get timing right.
One trick I "discovered" (it was in a microwave cookbook) is to add a tablespoon of cream cheese - diced up - to the beaten egg before you nuke it.

You also have to stir the eggs about once a minute to keep them fluffier.
For a single egg you need to stir about every 30 seconds.

If you just microwave without stirring, the texture is definitely more rubbery than pan-cooked.

One of the things my kids could make by themselves when younger and not allowed to use stove by them selves they loved it they would melt cheese on it....they would make in mornings for school so fast cause usually in a hurry.

Thats funny. When my kids were very young they called them "puffy eggs" it was the first thing they could "cook" themselves.
They are very different tasting. Mostly because the ones I cook in a skillet are cooked right after I take the bacon out. Love eggs cooked in bacon grease.

They did not learn it from me but they wanted it at my house. So I went with it one day thats how I learned I supervised the first day. I did not know if they knew what they were doing at that age. Ive tried them I did not think they were that bad with cheese melted on them. I have even made a time or two for me when in a hurry but I prefer the pan scramble eggs. I use butter in the pan. I'm not a big egg eater nor a breakfast eater.
