Difference in Lav & Splash Chick Color - Updated with Pics

Is there a way to tell if a chick is lavender or splash? Is there a slight color difference? I know I will probably have to wait a few weeks to tell, but I'm impatient.

You really have to have one of each color sitting next to each other in order to differentiate, IMO. The lavender is has a slightly more "silvery lilac" tone in the down than the splash will. IMO, the splash is more of a "silvery grey". Very hard to describe.

That's what is throwing me off. I was looking at them and I thought, "This color doesn't really look like splash... where have I seen this chick color before???"

Guess we'll have to wait it out a little while. It would be FANTASTIC if these were lavenders.
