Differences in roo and pullets in young silver and golden laced wyndotts?

At 6 weeks it's all about the comb and wattles. A lot of bright red in the comb and wattles, and it's probably a cockerel. Mostly yellow or pink, and it's a pullet. In a few more weeks, feather patterns will start to emerge that can tell you the difference: males will have a black ring around their necks that will become their hackle feathers, whereas females will continue the lacing pattern from their heads to their necks and down their bodies. Hope this helps!
