I have 4 pullets of various ages: 15 weeks, 18 weeks, 20 weeks, and 24 weeks. Only the 24 week old is laying and she has been laying for a month now. I have still been feeding growth crumble and having oyster shell available. I also feed yogurt 3 times per week.

Do you think this is enough calcium for the layer?

Should I wait until they all are laying before I switch to layer crumbles?

Also they get to free range on the weekends and get a variety of fruit and veggie seconds from the garden.

Thanks,

Liz

I think they will be fine how you are feeding them.
Once the 15 weeker hits 18 weeks I'd switch them all over to layer and continue to offer oyster shell for all.
