Differentiating 4 day old chicks - Crèvecœur & Cuckoo Maran

Amongst others, I recently received 2 straight run Crèvecœur chicks and 4 Cuckoo Maran pullets. One died in the first twelve hours and it's gone, we buried it. I thought it was a Cuckoo Maran, but now I can't figure out which of the two it was! I know for sure I have one Crèvecœur that is very distinctly white underneath with distinctly white wing tips. The Cuckoo Marans seem to be very golden underneath. There's one I'm just not sure of! Google Search images are sometimes confusing with their labeling. Any tips would be appreciated. I hope I don't just have one Crèvecœur, seems like he/she would like to have a buddy.

I'm sorry about the photo quality, it was so hard to get photos of the little buggers, they're so speedy. I'm pretty sure the first picture is the one Crèvecœur. It's definitely got the whitest belly. Just can't tell on the other three, not as well anyway. And I think I missed taking a pic of one other.

Agreed on the first one being your Crèvecœur. 2nd is a Marans. What comb does the 3rd and 4th have? They do both look like Marans.

Interesting that all of the others have single combs except this one. Not a great photo but it looks like an indent in the beak and no comb yet? Oh maybe that's the V-comb that Crèvecœurs have, just starting!

Crèvecœurs have V combs, so any with them are that breed. Marans have single and only single combs.

It was a guess at best, that the "indentation" I saw might actually be a v-comb but since it has no visible comb like the others, it's not a Maran, it's got to be a Crèvecœur! Thank you very much for your help!
