Too bad didgital thermometers can not be calibrated. I use fluker's. I compaired 2 side by side and they were off.

I agree. I could put 6 therometers side by side and no two would read the same.

Could? I have six here, and none read the same! My incubator is like a thermometer forest with a few eggs in it (42 actually) - Humidity reads different on all of them too? Wish there was some reliable, accurate, first time around best bet to buy gauge I could trust? Good luck!

Do you have a local Cigar Shop?

That is where I buy mine at. They are calibrated and the hydromteres read true as well. You will however spend more then you would at Wal-Mart or the pet store but you are getting one that reads true.

They sell digital and manual reading ones.

I plan to check with fluke and raytek and just keep the diff in mine from the accurite. dh is an hvac tech I have lots of gadgets to play with, they're just too big to fit in the bator with turner

I use a thermometer from radio shack. I calibrated it by checking it against my thermostat.
