Howdy all,
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with mixing the DVL Electrovite powder. hehe I'm not too good at math and ratios so it is very confusing. the package states for poultry "Dissolve 300 grams in 360 litres of drinking water." How much would that be in tablespoons for a one gallon waterer and one litre waterer??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

So to keep this fairly simple...one quart water feeder is about the same as a litre. To find how much DVL elecrotrovite per litre, divide the 360 litre s by 360, this gives us 1 litre. Now do the same to the 300 grams. You should get .83333 grams per litre. There are approximately 4.2 grams in a teaspoon, or 1/6 teaspoons in a gram.
Bottom line..lol...we are talking about a couple pinches per litre.

Thank you. hehe shows you how bad I am at most math!! I was told to divide each number by 100, then some other foreign calculations which came out to just under a tablespoon per gallon. I was told it wont hurt them if there is a bit much, but I'd rather not waste

I usually only give it to them when its very hot out so they get more than just water. I figure it like if its hot out and im thirsty Id rather have a little gatorade over just plain water all day
