Dirt in Feathers

Hello!

I'm new to raising chickens, so this might be a silly question.

I know they take dust baths, my girls do it all the time. But should the dirt be stuck in their feathers? It doesn't seem to be coming out when they shake. It's not mud, just dirt and some little bits of wood from their run.

Should I give them an actual bath? Or is this normal?

Thank you!

I have two Light Brahmas (which are white). You can tell when they have been dust bathing...they are covered with "stuff" and are dirt colored. It will all eventually fall off, only for them to go dust bathe again.
