I saw this on PBS last night and really enjoyed it. It played as a part of the Independent Lens series (which is where I also first saw King Corn, another excellent film on sustainable agriculture). It is based on the book Dirt: The Ecstatic Skin of the Earth , by William Bryant Logan.
It is something like Food Inc only more positive. Inspiring.
Some of the featured people were quite interesting. I especially loved the story told by the African activist about the hummingbird trying to put out the forest fire while all the other animals watched with a sense of helplessness. "At least I'm doing something!"
Anyway, if you missed it, it will replay Friday or Saturday in many locations.
