If the worm infestation is not severe garlic and DE in the food will help.
You should give this for at least a week. Stop a week or so, and then give it another week. It's oké to give it to the whole flock. Maybe you can find more info on this somewhere? I only used these method for prevention once a year in summer. The permethrin is not a horrible poison. It breaks down in a short time.
The beak can be modelled a bit if you can hold down your rooster and someone else does the cutting (nailcutter) and filing. I have no experience with this but read about it on a Dutch chickenforum.
